It’s the middle of October and our holiday crews are already busy in trees and on commercial buildings installing lights and clips in preparation for turning on next month! Each year we take advantage of the warm weather and try to get as many properties prepped before any frost or inclement weather like high winds, rain or even early snow, which can make roof work unsafe.

This being our 18th season, we’ve pretty much seen it all and do our best to plan accordingly. Our crews start on the high roofs and larger properties including those that we do window lights so that we make sure the tabs stick. We also do lights in many of the trees once the leaves have started falling and then come back and lay down any cords after fall cleanups are complete. This way next month we return to finish up any greenery and bows and plug everything in so our clients are all ready for the holidays 🙂

I heard a couple of radio announcements and still can’t believe it’s 6 weeks until Thanksgiving (11/23) and 10 weeks until Christmas. We are already scheduled on about a 100+ jobs for this season so if you’re planning to get an estimate now’s the time to give us a call while we are still flexible and offering incentives for early installations and bookings.

Crews did the lights this week again for some of our commercial accounts. Those of you looking for a venue to hold a wedding, conference, or event might check out our friends over at Maneeley’s Banquet Facility located in South Windsor Ct. Starting this weekend, beautiful lights can be seen in the trees so that brides can enjoy twinkly mini lights on their special day.

They also have a fun filled breakfast with Santa which is on December 17th this year. For more info and tickets check out this link:
