Temperatures are dropping and I can’t believe Thanksgiving is already 2 weeks away! This year turkey day falls almost a whole week earlier than last season so our elves are out in full swing getting lights and decorations ready for families throughout Ct. About half of our clients turn them on right away while the rest choose to light up Thanksgiving weekend welcoming the arrival of family and friends.
The majority of our commercial clients are already set for the holiday shopping season especially the retail stores like Enfield Square and other strip malls we do each year preparing for all the busy holiday shoppers out there 🙂
Grocery stores like Highland Park Market in Manchester will be all set for the 81st annual Manchester Road Race and West Side Marketplace in Rocky Hill will be lit up for the long Thanksgiving weekend too!
Thanksgiving Day our crews will be enjoying Turkey and the fixings with their families. We get an extra week between Thanksgiving and December 1st this year so our crews will be going full force hopefully before any inclement weather. Now that the evenings are getting darker early, you will also start to see more holiday lights around town too so keep an eye out for our trucks. We still have room on our schedules from 11/27 to 12/15 and we will start offering late season incentives once we get into December.
We changed things up a little over at Bushnell Park this season. Actually added some colored lights to the trees by the free skating rink so go down and check it out during the weekend of Thanksgiving for the start of Winterfest 2017.
