NOTE: As a friendly reminder we shut down our landscape services September 15 this year so we could transition into our holiday decorating services early due to all the rain and wind this year to stay ahead. So, if you have any major renovation projects like walkways, patios, and plantings they will have to wait until spring. Please take photos, videos and measurements while snow-free so we can work on budgets, design and landscaping estimates in late winter (February-April) as we wait for the snow to melt.

Speaking of spring planning, once the leaves start dropping many of you will start noticing that you can now see your neighbors’ yards again and also that means they can see YOU and your activities. By planting a privacy screening of evergreens, you can eliminate some of this. Both Ron and I have been at the Prides Corner Farms Nursery Cromwell/Rocky Hill location and the selection of shrubs and perennials is looking great and the fully stocked trees are very healthy and freshly dug due to the rainy year we had. Planting this time of year also makes for easier watering due to cooler evening temperatures and this goes for lawns as well. Less competition from summer weeds and heat and take advantage of the rain this year. Contact ASAP if interested.

Fact: Fall is the Best time to plant trees and shrubs as well as repairing lawns. The fall moisture (rains) helps the trees and shrubs establish their root systems. When the air temperatures are cooler than the soil, new root growth is encouraged without new top growth. The result is a stronger, better developed root system for the next season. Why Fall is Good Time for Trees and Lawns

Holiday Packages were sent out first week of September to all Existing Christmas Clients. The deadline for early renewal and deposits is October 1. After this date our Pricing will increase, and schedule availability may be impacted. This will be our 25th season of holiday lighting and decorating and it always surprises me when I start receiving new inquiries in the summer requesting pricing and availability. Must be all the Christmas in July sales being advertised or seeing the holiday products already being sold on QVC. Plus Hallmark and Lifetime put out all their holiday movies too lol. Check out our Holiday Lighting and Decorating Services

Reminder that it’s never too early to start planning for the fall and upcoming winter holidays. We’ve been designing holiday quotes and scheduling since July so now’s the time to contact us if you are planning a holiday event and need some professional help. Every year we anticipate high demand and limited availability due to the short window of time during the holidays so the sooner you can contact us the better before we are booked up.

NOTE: All of our crews have transitioned into holiday lighting and decorating for the upcoming season starting the week of September 18th this year. Crews will be completing ladder re-training and refresher classes as well as switch over all our trailers/trucks to prepare for the busy weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year 2023. Landscape estimates, consultations and designing will start up again in February/March 2024. We are currently installing early holiday re-installations that start in October and continue into the busy Thanksgiving weekend. We have some limited availability for new clients each year due to high demand and weather conditions so contact us early for more info and current availability which changes daily.
