10/18/16 Last week Connecticut got its first taste of cold weather with an early season statewide frost and I’m scheduling upcoming events that our clients have coming up next month. Pretty hard to believe that we’ve got about 5 weeks until Thanksgiving already! Hopefully Mother Nature is nice to us like last winter and doesn’t send any hurricanes or N’oreasters our way (fingers crossed)!!!

The city of Hartford is continuing their display for 2016-2017 Winterfest this year. They can be viewed until February 1st this year. Here are some of the trees at the Bushnell Park that we did last 3 seasons which was a big success. Not only does it help draw people into the city to enjoy all the dining, art, and entertainment that Hartford has to offer but it brightens an otherwise dark and dreary time of year:
Many of you will be planning your holiday events and picking dates for the family gatherings and parties you are hosting for next year and it’s never too early to start thinking about how you would like to light up and decorate your home or business. Each year we get slammed with requests the week before, during, and following “Turkey Day” and we are already booking up quickly for this season. Our crews take advantage of the warmer weather September-November to get ahead of the season and we give extra incentives for early installation when safer conditions allow for better results which gives us time to make sure everyone is taken care of. You just turn your display on when you are ready. We do get booked up each season so we also give new clients who want to try our service an incentive for what we like to call “Early Season” installations (10/1 through 11/15) and “Late Season” installation the first year after 12/5. This is for jobs we can do between 12/6 and 12/18 (weather permitting).
For the past 3 seasons we have gotten the pleasure to work with Maneeley’s Banquet Facility located in South Windsor, CT on Rye Street. They specialize in weddings, corporate events and meetings, and also offer full catering services. The food and staff are great and they have a lot of other special events throughout the year. Starting in late October to end of January both brides and event attendees get to enjoy a dazzling display of warm lights!
Our holiday lights and decorations with our custom made gold holiday bows (thanks to Emmy Lou and her wonderful staff at Emmy Lou’s LTD., Glastonbury CT) were on display for all to enjoy. Here are a few photos…
